As you grow I will be watching you and how you find your way
As you grow I will be loving you a little more each day
As you grow I will be teaching you the little that I know
Though the world may sometimes frighten
Each lesson can enlighten
Your eyes to always brighten
As you grow

As you grow I will be feeding you with the things I think you need
As you grow know I will find for you the places you should see
As you grow I’ll try to tell the truth as simply as I see
I’ll paint your world with laughter
With all the hope that I can gather
Reach for the heart of all that matters
