She tilts her head up to the sky for her face to feel the glow
She lifts her skirt above her knees for the waves to crash below

She ties a scarf around her waist, flag of flowers in the breeze
She walks to find the nothingness that makes her feel so free
And paints a lovely picture that no one ever sees

The lady’s heart will wait for love to really hold her
She needs someone to help unfold her
The lady’s heart will wait

Her steps are steady firm and proud, sand flies beneath her feet
stopping only as she picks up broken pieces of the sea

She sings herself a melody against the ocean’s roar
Whose sounds will wash the canvas where her mind begins to draw
And smiles to think that only love could make her feel much more

The lady’s heart will wait to live the dream inside her
as she longs for love to find her
The lady’s heart will wait

She builds her hopes so high it’s sad to watch them fall
The lady’s heart just wants it all

The lady’s heart will wait for love to really hold her
She needs someone to help unfold her
The lady’s heart will wait

The lady’s heart will wait to live the dream inside her
As she yearns for love to find her
the lady’s heart will wait

….she smiles to think that only love would make her feel much more …..
